I’ve been using the kishu binchotan charcoal for nearly a year now. I’ve always hated the taste of the tap water. It truly filters the nasties and removes all the bad taste. I have drastically reduced the amount of waste and I am saving money too compared to the price per bottle of water. I’m using a 3.6L water dispenser that I refill every evening before going to bed. I use 4 sticks of charcoal for that quantity of water. Every 3 weeks I boil the sticks to remove the impurities. I reuse them for up to 3 months until I can taste the water is no longer well filtered.
I love this natural way to filter the water. Better for the health and better for the environment.
